QR Code Generator for Real Estate Listings
Print one QR code on the yard sign, flyer, or window decal — buyers scan it and land straight on your listing page, virtual tour, or video walkthrough. No keyword search, no typing your URL into a tiny phone keyboard at the curb.
Free PNG download. SVG and EPS export coming with Pro.
Why use this generator
- Yard signs: scan from the car to view the full listing without parking.
- Flyers and brochures: link to a virtual tour or 3D walkthrough instead of static photos.
- Open house follow-up: print a QR that leads to your contact card or showing scheduler.
- Listing brochures in the home: scan for HOA docs, school zone maps, or seller disclosures.
- MLS print ads: include a QR for the always-fresh online listing — print can never go stale.
How it works
- 1Paste the listing URL (Zillow, your brokerage page, or a custom landing page).
- 2Pick high contrast colors that scan reliably in bright outdoor sun.
- 3Set error correction to Quartile or High — yard signs get scratched, weathered, and partially obscured.
- 4Download the PNG. For yard signs print at least 4×4 inches so drive-by scans work from 5+ feet.
Frequently asked questions
- How big should the QR code be on a yard sign?
- Minimum 4×4 inches (10×10 cm) for reliable scanning from a parked car. Bigger is better. The rule of thumb: code-size = scan-distance ÷ 10. So 4-inch code scans from ~40 inches; 8-inch code scans from ~6.6 feet.
- Will the code still scan after weeks of sun and rain?
- With error correction set to High (30%) it tolerates roughly that much surface damage before failing. Laminated signs hold up much longer than bare paper.
- Can I track which sign or flyer got the most scans?
- Not with a static QR code — every printed code is identical. With Pro dynamic QR codes, generate a separate code per listing or per sign location and watch scan counts per code in your dashboard.
- What URL should I link to?
- The listing page on your brokerage site is best (you control it). Zillow / Realtor URLs work but disappear when the listing is removed — and your static QR would point at a dead page forever. Dynamic QR fixes this.
- Can the QR open a phone call or text instead of a webpage?
- Yes. Use a tel: or sms: prefix in the content field, like `tel:+15551234567` or `sms:+15551234567`. Phones recognize these and prompt to call or message.
